Cooley Advertising & Public Relations’ advertising positioning and strategy for Sue Bickerdyke Interiors is to build the retail end of the business while continuing to sustain her personal interior design services. The goal is to encourage customers to visit her showroom and her website and generate increased awareness for the store.
Recently, Cooley Advertising & Public Relations created an invitation/customer appreciation card that was mailed to Sue’s current customer database. The invitation was a thank you to her customers for their patronage and invited them to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 11th to showcase her newly expanded showroom. Cooley Advertising & Public Relations also created a half-page and a third-page ad for the Phoenix Home & Garden magazine which featured some of Sue’s designs as well as a designer profile story for the same publication.
An extremely challenging economic environment calls for a different way to attract and do business. Cooley Advertising & Public Relations is recommending that Sue Bickerdyke Interiors shift its advertising efforts to include more non-traditional methods. For 2009, there will be more emphasis on direct communication with current and prospective customers.
