Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation was established in 1940 by Frank Lloyd Wright, who was recognized in 1991 by the American Institute of Architects as “the greatest American architect of all time.”
The Foundation encompasses:
- The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture: A unique and renowned approach of learning by doing. Founded in 1932, it offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in architecture.
- Educational programs: Programs for K-12 students and teachers as well as continuing education opportunities for mid-career professionals. Public outreach and cultural programs for the general public which are comprised of tours, workshops, and concerts.
- The Fellowship: A living repository of Wright’s ideals and a residential community which supports the programming of the Foundation and is the core of current and evolving residential programs for artists, scholars, and architects in residence.
- Two National Historic Landmark properties: Taliesin (Spring Green, WI) and Taliesin West (Scottsdale, AZ) which attract over 145,000 visitors each year.
- The Frank Lloyd Wright Archives: Containing over 22,000 of his architectural drawings and over 300,000 documents, works of art, prototypes and other personal effects and encompassing 21 registered US and 11 international trademarks and numerous design copyrights.
Cooley Advertising & Public Relations seeks to create additional public awareness and strengthen its positive brand image for The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation through a well designed and executed public relations campaign.
The campaign is comprised of regular, consistent and cohesive publicizing of the Foundation and all that it encompasses. Awareness is best achieved through media events, public television, radio spots, outdoor billboards and direct mail campaigns.
Another means of creating and maintaining a positive brand image and raising additional awareness is through the establishment of partnerships. For instance, mutually beneficial partnerships would be created between The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and local artist groups, museums, schools, and with housing and “green” and “sustainable” oriented foundations.
