EdOptions High School is an independent public high school located in Tempe, Arizona that is dedicated to providing students with a proven curriculum that aligns to state standards, scheduling flexibility, and an educational environment of high expectations and individual successes. EdOptions’ 21st century educational approach merges technology and content delivery systems with highly qualified teachers in a classroom environment to create an educational synergy that provides all students with superior opportunities for success.

Students receive instructional guidance from certified teachers online, as well as face-to-face instruction and assistance by certified teachers in the classroom. Students can access web-based coursework at any time allowing individuals to learn at their own pace, graduating ahead of schedule if they so desire. EdOptions High School’s maximum enrollment goal is 200 students for the 2009/2010 school year, which began on August 10, 2009.

Cooley Advertising and Public Relations is providing public relations and advertising support for EdOptions High School. The goal of the PR campaign is to generate ongoing and significant coverage about the school in local, regional, and specialty media. Through this coverage, Cooley Advertising and Public Relations seeks to drive public interest and enrollment by creating awareness and positive perceptions for EdOptions High School. The target market is comprised of parents of children ages 12-17 and children ages 12-17 who are entering the 9th grade or those that have yet to decide where they will attend high school next year.

Cooley Advertising and Public Relations has crafted advertisements in The Arizona Republic as well as a press release announcing the opening of the school and assembled a press kit for distribution to the media. Recent press coverage includes an online story in EVLiving.com on July 13th and an article in The Tempe Republic on August 7th. In addition, Jeff Sawner, Vice President of EdOptions, participated in a 15 minute segment on the Pat McMahon Show live at 9:00 am on August 17th.
